Corpus Christi, TX (October 29, 2024) – A major motor vehicle accident reported in the Corpus Christi area claimed one person’s life. The accident took place at around 9:35 a.m. on October 28.
Police reports indicate that a male was struck by a truck in the 5400 block of Leopard Street. The vehicle remained at the scene, and the driver spoke with law enforcement. Emergency medical services were requested at the scene of the collision to care for the injured victim. Despite medical efforts, the pedestrian ended up passing away as a result of their injuries. At this time, the Corpus Christi Police Department is investigating the crash.
