Houston, TX (September 23, 2024) – The Houston Police Department, firefighters, and emergency medical services were all summoned to provide assistance at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the Houston area on Sunday evening, September 22.
At around 8:00 p.m., a motor vehicle accident occurred in the 5700 block of Newport Street. Emergency crews responded to the crash site and immediately struck down a portion of the roadway to provide assistance. Emergency medical services were notified that they were needed on-site to care for the injured victims. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for further medical care.
