Donna, TX (September 12, 2024) – The Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed that 72-year-old Feliberto Ramirez lost his life after being struck by a Weslaco ISD school bus on Wednesday morning, September 11.
Official reports show that Ramirez was walking in the area of Farm to Market Road 493 and Hernandez Road during the morning hours at around 6:50 a.m. when he was struck by the school bus. Ramirez was severely injured as a result of the accident. Despite medical treatment, he died from his injuries. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
