San Antonio, TX (August 2, 2024) – Two people were hospitalized as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on the southeast side of San Antonio on Thursday, August 1. The San Antonio Police Department was informed that the collision took place on East Southcross Boulevard.
Official reports indicate that a vehicle was traveling westbound on the roadway when the driver lost control. As a result, the vehicle went off the roadway in the 4000 block and struck a bus stop and a utility pole before rolling over just west of South WW White Road. The driver of the vehicle was treated for injuries at the scene. Two people who were waiting for the bus were injured. Both victims were rushed to area hospitals for emergency care. At least one victim was admitted in serious condition. At this time, the crash is being investigated.
