Houston, TX (August 1, 2024) – Emergency crews were requested at the scene of a major motor vehicle accident in Houston on Wednesday morning, July 31. The collision was reported to the Houston Police Department and firefighters at around 235 a.m.
Official reports indicate that a motor vehicle collision took place on Highway 59. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the involved vehicles blocking the road near Newcastle. Three people were trapped inside one of the vehicles. Firefighters had to use a full extrication box to remove the victims. After approximately 30 minutes, all three victims were removed from their vehicles and rushed to area trauma centers for emergency treatment. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
