Houston, TX (August 23, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported on the northwest side of Houston on Thursday claimed one person’s life. The Houston Police Department and firefighters were called to the scene of the accident at around 3:50 p.m. on Thursday, August 22.
Official reports show that a vehicle was traveling in the 15,300 block of Clay Road during the afternoon hours. As the vehicle proceeded through the area near the War Memorial Soccer Park, it crossed over the center median and collided head-on with a second vehicle. One person involved in the accident was fatally injured. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, the incident is under investigation by the Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division and Northwest Patrol.
