Houston, TX (July 13, 2024) – At around 5:10 a.m. on July 12, emergency crews were requested at the scene of a car crash in the Astrodome Neighborhood that sent an unknown number of people to area hospitals with injuries.
According to official reports, a motor vehicle collision took place on Almeda Road. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the involved vehicles blocking several lanes of the roadway in the 8400 block. Emergency officials immediately shut down the road to assist. Paramedics were summoned to care for injured victims and transport them to hospitals in the area. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
