Houston, TX (June 5, 2024) – Emergency crews were requested to provide help at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Sunday evening in Houston. Authorities were informed of the crash at around 7:00 p.m. on June 2.
According to police reports, a motor vehicle accident occurred on East Sam Houston Parkway North near East Little York Road. The incident blocked the 9900 block of the roadway for a significant amount of time. Further investigations show that a Camaro was traveling east on East Little Rock Road when it collided with a second vehicle. The impact of the collision sent the Camaro off the roadway, where it collided with a signal pole and became engulfed in flames with two people trapped inside. A 17-year-old and 19-year-old Braulio Tamez were both fatally injured in the crash. Two other women were treated for injuries while at the scene. At this time, the crash is being investigated.
