Houston, TX (June 7, 2024) – A pedestrian accident reported in the Houston area claimed one person’s life. At around 9:10 p.m. on June 2, the Houston Police Department was dispatched to the scene of a car crash in Houston’s Museum District.
Reports indicate that a four-door sedan collided with a silver BMW 650 near Fannin Street and Blodgett Street. The driver of the sedan fled the scene of the accident, drove up onto the sidewalk, and struck three pedestrians. One of the pedestrians, a 55-year-old man, was pronounced deceased at the scene as a result of his injuries. The two other pedestrians were seriously injured and rushed to area hospitals. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
