Victoria, TX (May 2, 2024) – Emergency crews were summoned to the scene of a car crash in the Victoria area that ended in injuries. The crash was reported to authorities during the evening hours on Monday, April 29. According to law enforcement reports, a white 2011 Dodge Durango caused a multi-vehicle accident after running a red light at the intersection of East Red River Street and North Navarro Street.
The Durango provided westbound on East Red River Street before colliding with two northbound vehicles, which were identified as a blue 1978 Monte Carlo and a tan 2012 Chevrolet Malibu, resulting in significant damage to all involved vehicles. Following the initial collision, the Durango continued its westward, ultimately crashing into a nearby utility pole and wooden fence. Emergency medical services responded to the scene of the accident to render aid to multiple victims. The injured victims were then transported to area hospitals for further care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
