Houston, TX (May 12, 2024) – A major motor vehicle accident reported in the Houston area on Thursday evening claimed one person’s life. Authorities were called to the scene of the accident on May 9 at around 10:00 p.m.
According to police reports, a group of kids stole a vehicle in the Houston area during the evening hours. As the vehicle fled down Richmond Avenue. As the vehicle continued to flee the scene, it crashed into a car on South Kirkwood Road. The vehicle then crashed into three additional vehicles on Westheimer Road in the Westchase District. One person involved in the accident sustained fatal injuries. The victim was pronounced deceased by authorities. An unknown number of people were transported to area hospitals for the treatment of injuries. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
