Houston, TX (May 4, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Harris County sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries. The collision was reported on Thursday, May 22.
During the afternoon hours, multiple vehicles, including a propane tank, collided along US Highway 290. Authorities arrived at the scene and closed down the roadway just past Grand Parkway. An RV and a large truck were spotted at the scene, and one additional vehicle blocked multiple lanes of the road. The hazmat team was requested at the scene to clean up the propane, gas, and oil from the road. Emergency medical services were requested on-site to care for injured victims. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for emergency medical care. At this time, the crash is under investigation.
