Houston, TX (May 17, 2024) – On Thursday afternoon, Houston Police Department officers were summoned to assist at the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the Spring Branch area that claimed one person’s life. The collision occurred at around 12:25 p.m. on May 16.
According to reports from the Houston Police Department, a man was cleaning gutters at an oil-changing business located on Gessner Road just east of Beltway 8. For unknown reasons, a woman driving a vehicle went around the building and struck the pedestrian. The man was fatally injured in the crash and pronounced deceased at the scene. The woman remained on site and spoke with the police. Investigations into the crash are ongoing.
