Corpus Christi, TX (May 18, 2024) – Emergency crews confirmed that 21-year-old Jacob I Lopez lost his life as a result of a motorcycle accident that occurred early Friday morning in Corpus Christi. The collision occurred just before three a.m. on May 17.
Reports from the Corpus Christi Police Department show that a motorcycle was traveling on South Padre Island Drive during the early morning hours. As the vehicle proceeded through the Everhart area, it collided with a second vehicle. A third vehicle then became involved in the collision. The motorcyclist, identified as Lopez, sustained fatal injuries. He was pronounced deceased by authorities. No other injuries were reported. At this time, the crash is under investigation.
