Laredo, TX (April 26, 2024) – A bus accident reported in the Laredo area on Thursday afternoon and ended in injuries. The Laredo Police Department and firefighters were called to the scene of the crash at around 3:30 p.m. on April 25.
According to official reports, a United Independent School District bus carrying students was involved in a collision at the intersection of East Calton Road and Marcella Avenue. Police responded to the scene and immediately closed down the roadway. Emergency medical services responded to the crash site to evaluate the involved parties. Victims who sustained injuries were transported to area hospitals for medical care. At this time, the crash is under investigation.
