Houston, TX (April 24, 2024) – A major motor vehicle accident reported on the southwest side of Houston on Monday evening claimed the lives of two people. The Houston Police Department and firefighters were called to the scene of the accident at around 9:30 p.m. on April 22.
Police reports indicate that a pickup truck was traveling north on Synott Road when it collided with a Nissan Altima near Clarewood Drive. The Altima then spun out and collided with a pole. The pickup truck then proceeded forward and collided with a Chevrolet Malibu. The driver of the pickup truck and the driver of the Malibu both died from their injuries while at the scene. The driver of the Altima was injured and transported to an area hospital for emergency care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
