Deadly Motorcycle Crashes in Texas
Texas and motorcycles go hand in hand. You realize how much there is to genuinely enjoy about seeing Texas on two wheels once you get off the main roads and interstates. However, motorcycle riders must keep a close eye on oncoming traffic because they are among the most vulnerable drivers on the road. According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), there are still about 400,000 on-road motorbikes registered in Texas, despite a reduction in the number of registered motorcycles during the previous ten years. On Texas highways, 9,094 motorcycle riders and passengers were involved in collisions.
