Houston, TX (April 12, 2024) – A fatal motor vehicle accident reported in the Houston area on Thursday morning claimed the lives of two people. The incident was reported to officials at around 4:05 a.m. on April 11.

Official reports indicate that a white Cadillac CTS was traveling southbound on the north side of Eastex Freeway when it collided with a gray Nissan Altima in the 16,900 block of the road. Two people involved in the accident, a 22-year-old male and a 24-year-old female, were both fatally injured. The man was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the female was transported to an area hospital, where she later died from her injuries. The collision is being investigated.
