Houston, TX (April 27, 2024) – Two people were transported to an area hospital with injuries as a result of a bus accident that occurred in the Houston area on Friday morning, April 26. The Houston Police Department, firefighters, and emergency medical services personnel were all cold to the scene at around 11:40 a.m.
According to reports, a METRO bus and a car collided on Interstate 45 near Farm to Market Road 1960 during the morning hours. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway. The driver of the car and the bus operator were both injured in the crash. The two victims were transported to area hospitals for further medical care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
