Car Accidents in Texas
Every time you head out onto the road, you are at risk of being harmed. In Texas, the risk is even higher due to the alarming rate of serious accidents. Reckless driving is not uncommon here, and it is not hard to spot someone on the road behaving irresponsibly. Regrettably, statistics show that since November 2000, there has not been a single day without a reported collision in the state. That fact alone should give pause to anyone who regularly travels Texas highways.
Annually, there are over half a million reported crashes on Texas roads, and the state ranks among the highest in the nation for alcohol-related accidents. Despite the perception that urban areas would be the most dangerous, it’s actually rural roads where most fatal accidents occur.
Given these statistics, it’s crucial to be prepared to protect your rights if you are ever involved in a serious car accident. That means teaming up with a qualified lawyer who can guide you through the legal process.
