Corpus Christi, TX (April 7, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Corpus Christi area sent one person to a local hospital with injuries. The Corpus Christi Police Department responded to the scene of the accident at around 6:55 p.m. on April 7.
Reports provided by the police show that the driver of a gray 2022 Kia failed to yield the right-of-way while pulling out of a private driveway located in the 3000 block of Holly Road. As a result, the vehicle collided with a brown 2015 Ford. Multiple airbags in the Ford deployed as a result of the collision. One person suffered injuries in the crash. The victim, identified as a 46-year-old woman, was treated at the scene and transported to an area hospital. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
