Corpus Christi, TX (April 7, 2024) – One person was transported to a local hospital with injuries following a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Saturday afternoon, April 6. The accident took place at approximately 12:55 p.m.
Preliminary reports show that the driver of a beige 2012 Hyundai failed to yield the right-of-way at a stop sign while traveling on Park Road 22. As a result, the vehicle collided with a white 2013 Nissan. Multiple airbags in the Nissan were deployed due to the collision. One person involved in the accident, identified as a 64-year-old female, was injured in the crash. The victim was transported to an area hospital for medical care. At this time, the Corpus Christi Police Department is investigating.
