According to reports from the Port Aransas Police Department, the driver of a red 2015 Jeep became distracted while traveling in the 700 block of Texas State Highway 361. As a result, the vehicle collided with a gold 2008 Kia. The driver of the Kia, a 54-year-old woman, was injured in the accident. The victim was transported to an area hospital for medical care.
