Farida is attending law school at Seton Hall University in New Jersey. After graduating, she plans to begin a career in Health Law. Her goal is to make a difference in her community by advocating for accessible healthcare and healthcare reform.

Laritza Oregon Salinas

Spring 2022 Winner

Laritza, who is currently pursuing a master’s degree, is bilingual and hopes to use her skills and unique perspective to become a compassionate and supportive counselor to children of immigrant families. Laritza appreciates the importance of mental health, especially within Hispanic communities, and hopes to make a difference in the lives of families who are struggling with assimilation and the stresses of everyday life.
