What a weekend in Bandera for the Lace, Grace & Gears Motorcycle Rally!
Even though the weather didn’t cooperate on Friday, we still had a great time meeting everyone who came by to see us.
The main beneficiary of this year’s Lace, Grace & Gears rally was the Krause Children’s Center, whose purpose is to give young ladies a place to stay and heal away from rough family situations. The center relies on donations and volunteers to continue operations, so if you feel like helping, click the Krause Center link for more information.
One of the main goals of the LGG rally was to break the record for the most women motorcyclists in one place, a record that was previously broken in Australia. Unfortunately, they came up short this year with 736 women riders, but there was still a solid turnout that should make rally attendees proud.
We had such a fun time meeting folks that stopped by our booth, especially the women who took the challenge and lifted the bike! We also want to thank everyone who participated in our raffle for the Yeti® Cooler and Tumblers. Our Yeti Tumbler winners were Kim Fairburn, Brenda Mahon, Jana Christian, and Janet Doze. Our grand prize Yeti Cooler winner was Sandy Smith! Congrats to all of our winners!
