Bike Helmets for Children at Annual Corpus Christi Event

Christmas came early for hundreds of children at the 30th annual Navidad de Los Ninos in Corpus Christi. Each child left the event with either a goodie bag or a new bike, and a bike helmet provided by the Edwards Law Firm. The firm donated 168 bike helmets, coming through at the last minute after an expected donation fell through.

“We were happy to do it. No child should be riding a bike without a helmet,” said Billy Edwards, who helped pass out the helmets as a volunteer at the event. More than 1,000 people attended the event held Dec. 7th at the Antonio E. Garcia Arts and Education Center, according to news media.
