97,400 Audi's Recalled over Airbag Explosion Risk

Volkswagen is recalling 97,440 Audis to replace the driver's frontal airbag inflator. The problem is if the airbag goes off, the inflator may explode, injuring or killing occupants.

Affected are:

• 2009-2012 Audi Q5
• 2010-2012 Audi A5 Cabriolet
• 2010-2012 Audi S5 Cabriolet

Audi will notify owners, and dealers will replace the driver's frontal air bag inflator with an alternative inflator, free of charge.
