Alice, TX (February 25, 2025) – A nighttime crash in Alice involved a vehicle striking a cow on Farm to Market Road 665 near San Fernando Creek.
According to Sergeant Harold Mallory of the Department of Public Safety, the incident occurred at approximately 9:14 p.m. on February 24. Reports indicate that 33-year-old Adan Martinez of Alice was traveling westbound in a 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 when he collided with a black cow that had wandered onto the roadway. Emergency responders from Allegiance EMS evaluated Martinez and treated him at the scene. Authorities have not released information regarding the cow’s owner or whether any citations were issued. Investigations into the crash remain ongoing.
