Houston, TX (January 29, 2025) – A hit-and-run crash in southwest Houston early Sunday morning claimed the life of a 27-year-old woman. The incident occurred on January 26th around 3 a.m. along Fondren Road near Highway 59.

Houston police reported that the suspect, driving a truck, collided with the woman’s vehicle before fleeing the scene on foot. The suspect abandoned the wrecked truck at the crash site, leaving the victim fatally injured. Emergency responders arrived shortly after, but the young woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
