San Antonio, TX (January 27, 2025) – A wrong-way collision claimed the lives of two men early Sunday morning, January 26, in San Antonio. The crash occurred at approximately 5:05 a.m. on Highway 90 near Southwest Loop 410.
Reports from the San Antonio Police Department indicate that a black pickup truck was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of Highway 90 when it collided head-on with a gray SUV. Tragically, both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities identified the wrong-way driver as a man in his 40s and the SUV driver as a man in his 30s. The investigation into what caused the pickup truck to enter the wrong side of the highway remains ongoing.
