Dickinson, TX – Construction Worker Killed in Equipment Accident on I-45

Dickinson, TX (December 20, 2024) – A construction site accident claimed the life of 46-year-old Dislay Manuel Diaz Reburedo on Tuesday afternoon, December 17, according to local authorities and family members.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:50 p.m. on Interstate 45 near Farm to Market 517. According to the Dickinson Police Department, a boom truck used for carrying construction materials fell, pinning Diaz Reburedo underneath. Responding officers found the victim lying in the roadway upon their arrival. The victim was pronounced deceased by authorities. An investigation into the accident is currently underway to determine the circumstances leading to the equipment failure.
