Houston, TX – 2-Year-Old Boy Fatally Struck by Vehicle on W Fuqua St

Houston, TX (December 14, 2024) – Authorities confirmed that a two-year-old boy lost his life as a result of a fatal accident that took place on Thursday morning in Houston. Authorities were called to the scene of the accident at around 1030 a.m. on December 12.

Reports show that a woman was pushing her two-year-old grandson in a stroller in the 3100 block of West Fuqua Street. As they proceeded through the area near Bathurst Drive, a pickup truck driver turned left at the intersection and failed to yield the right-of-way. As a result, the truck struck the pedestrians. The woman and child were rushed to area hospitals for emergency care. The child passed away after arriving. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
