Houston, TX – Fatal Car Crash on TX-359 near FM 534

Houston, TX (December 8, 2024) – The Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed that 54-year-old James Siecko of Sugarland, Texas, lost his life as a result of a fatal accident that occurred in the Houston area on December 5.

Reports from authorities indicate that a 2019 Ford F150 pickup truck was heading northbound on Texas State Highway 359. As the vehicle approached Farm to Market Road 534, it collided with a 2017 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck, which was turning at the intersection. Authorities confirmed that the driver of the Ford F1 50, 76-year-old Brenda Wilson, failed to yield the right-of-way. The impact of the crash caused the Dodge to collide with a 2016 Infiniti Q70. The Dodge then left the roadway and rolled over before coming to rest on its side. The driver of the Dodge, identified as Siecko, was severely injured in the crash. A Halo Flight helicopter was requested at the scene to transport the victim. However, he died from his injuries while on site. Multiple other victims were transported to Christus Spohn for emergency medical care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
