Houston, TX – Car Crash with Injuries at West Loop S & Westpark Dr

Houston, TX (September 22, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Greenway - Upper Kirby neighborhood sent an unknown number of people to area hospitals with injuries.

At around 6:30 p.m. on September 21, officers with the Houston Police Department and firefighters were called to provide help at the scene of a crash that occurred on West Loop South. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the involved vehicles blocking several lanes of the road near Westpark Drive. The roadway was immediately shut down, enabling police and firefighters to safely remove the involved vehicles. Emergency medical services were summoned to the crash to care for injured victims. At least one of the people involved in the accident required further medical attention and was transported to a local hospital. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
