Channelview, TX – Fatal Crash Reported on East Freeway

Channelview, TX (September 19, 2024) – Emergency crews were summoned to provide assistance at the scene of a fatal accident that claimed one person’s life. The deadly collision took place at around 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18.

Reports show that a sedan and an 18-wheeler collided on the East Freeway during the morning hours. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and immediately shut down the roadway firefighters. One person involved in the accident was fatally injured and immediately pronounced deceased while on site. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
