Every time you get behind the wheel, you face the potential for harm. In Texas, this risk is particularly high due to the frequent occurrence of serious accidents. Reckless driving is a common issue, and it is not uncommon to witness irresponsible behavior on the roads. Unfortunately, statistics show that Texas has experienced reported collisions every single day since November 2000.
Each year, Texas records over half a million crashes, placing it among the top states in the nation for alcohol-related accidents. Surprisingly, while many might assume that urban areas are the most dangerous, it is rural roads where the majority of fatal accidents occur. These alarming statistics emphasize the importance of being prepared to protect your rights if you are involved in a severe car accident.
To safeguard your rights, it is vital to work with a qualified Houston wrongful death attorney who can guide you through the legal processes. The aftermath of a serious accident can have long-lasting effects on your life, making it crucial to have the support of an experienced attorney as you navigate the claims process.
