Corpus Christi, TX (August 13, 2024) – A woman was transported to an area hospital with injuries following a major motor vehicle accident that occurred on Sunday morning, August 11. The crash took place at around 4:00 a.m.
Reports from authorities indicate that a woman, age 36, was driving a golf cart on the John F Kennedy Memorial Causeway, Park Road 22. As she traveled through the 13,300 block of the road, her vehicle collided with a truck. The impact of the crash caused the woman to be ejected from her car. The woman suffered injuries in the accident. Emergency medical services rushed to the scene to care for the victim. She was transported to an area hospital for further medical care. No other injuries were reported as a result of this crash. Investigations are currently underway.
