Houston, TX (August 8, 2024) – A fatal motor vehicle accident reported in Harris County claimed one person’s life. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office was called to the scene of the collision on August 7 during the morning hours.
Official reports indicate that a pedestrian was struck on the southbound side of Highway 6. Emergency crews arrived at the scene and shut down the roadway near Bellaire Boulevard. The pedestrian, identified as an adult male, sustained fatal injuries in the crash. He was immediately pronounced deceased. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
