Houston, TX – Three Hurt in Car Crash on North Sam Houston Tollway

Houston, TX (July 30, 2024) – A major motor vehicle accident reported in the Houston area left multiple people injured. The Houston Police Department and firefighters were summoned to the scene of the accident at around 5:00 a.m. on July 29.

Official reports indicate that four vehicles collided on the North Sam Houston Tollway. The incident blocked multiple westbound lanes at Fairbanks North Houston. Delays were reported in the area near the Sam Houston Race Park as emergency crews worked to remove the involved vehicles. Three people were hurt as a result of the crash. Two people were transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital by ambulance for medical care. One additional victim was transported by Life Flight to the same hospital. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
