Atascosa Co., TX (June 29, 2024) – A major motor vehicle accident reported in Atascosa County left several people injured while claiming one person’s life. The collision occurred at around 10:15 a.m. on June 28.
Official reports indicate that a motor vehicle accident occurred on the southbound side of Interstate 37. The impact of the crash caused one vehicle to go off the roadway and overturned near mile marker 88. Multiple people were ejected from the car. Several victims were severely injured and rushed to the University Hospital for emergency care. One person involved in the accident, identified as 35-year-old Felix Ramirez, was fatally injured. He was pronounced deceased by authorities. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
