Atascocita, TX (June 3, 2024) – A fatal accident reported on Sunday morning in Atascocita claimed one person’s life. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office and firefighters responded to the scene of the accident during the early morning hours on June 2.

Official reports show that a man exited his vehicle in the 16,700 block of West Lake Houston Parkway during the early morning hours. For unknown reasons, a vehicle traveling through the area struck him. Reports indicate that the pedestrian and the driver of the other vehicle may have gotten into an altercation prior to the incident. The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries as a result of the accident and was pronounced deceased by authorities. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
