Corpus Christi, TX (May 22, 2024) – A Corpus Christi Police Department motorcycle officer was transported to an area hospital with injuries following a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Tuesday afternoon. Authorities were called to the scene of the accident at around 2:00 p.m. on May 21.
According to police reports, a motorcycle officer was riding a funeral procession during the afternoon hours. As they proceeded through the area near Kostoryz Road and Sacky Drive, the officer was struck by a vehicle. The officer sustained multiple broken bones as a result of the accident. He was transported to an area hospital for emergency medical care. At this time, the crash is under investigation.
