Houston, TX (May 17, 2024) – A pedestrian accident reported in Houston claimed one person’s life on Thursday evening, May 16. The Houston Police Department, firefighters, and emergency medical services were all requested at the scene of the crash during the evening hours.
Reports show that a pedestrian was walking in the 2000 block of the Crosby Freeway, Highway 90, during the evening hours. For unknown reasons, they were struck by a vehicle. The pedestrian was severely injured as a result of the crash. Despite medical efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased while at the scene. The incident is under investigation.
