Houston, TX (May 10, 2024) – The Houston Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the South Acres - Crestmont Park neighborhood and ended in injuries. Authorities were called to the scene of the crash at around 5:10 p.m. on May 9.
Official reports show that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in the 11,600 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard. The incident prompted authorities to close down a portion of the roadway as they provided assistance on-site. Paramedics were called to the scene to care for the injured victim. The injured pedestrian was transported to a local hospital for further medical care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
