Jersey Village, TX – Nine Injured in Crash at Little Kitchen HTX

Jersey Village, TX (May 8, 2024) - Several people were injured as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Saturday in Jersey Village. The incident was reported to law enforcement at around 12:20 p.m.

Official reports indicate that a 76-year-old driver was attempting to drive their car while in the parking lot of the Little Kitchen HTX restaurant, which is on Dillard Drive. Rather than hitting the brake pedal, the driver pushed the gas, resulting in the vehicle proceeding forward and through the restaurant. A total of nine people were injured as a result of the accident. One woman was transported by life flight helicopter to a local hospital for emergency medical treatment. Three additional victims were transported by ambulance to area hospitals. Five other victims were treated for injuries while at the scene. At this time, the accident is being investigated.
