Houston, TX (April 19, 2024) – At least one person was transported to an area hospital for the treatment of injuries following a motor vehicle accident that occurred in the Westwood neighborhood. Calls for assistance came in at around 12:20 p.m. on April 17.
According to official reports, a vehicle collision occurred in the 10,900 block of Southwest Freeway. The incident caused significant disruptions throughout the area, prompting the temporary closure of a portion of the roadway. Emergency medical services were requested at the scene to care for injured victims. An unknown number of victims were transported to local hospitals following the accident for emergency care. At this time, investigations into the accident are ongoing.
