Point Comfort, TX (April 11, 2024) - There were fatal injuries reported after a two-vehicle crash in the Point Comfort area on Tuesday, April 9. The deadly accident was reported near Formosa early that morning around 3:09 a.m. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to the scene to render aid to the involved parties.
Local reports revealed that a white pickup truck and an 18-wheeler collided at the scene. Responding officials reported that the driver of the pickup was found dead at the scene. The trucker had already exited the rig. There was a diesel spill on the roadway following the incident. The identity of the deceased party has not been provided at this time.
