Victoria, TX – One Injured in E Red River St Car Accident

Victoria, TX (April 4, 2024) – One person was transported to an area hospital for the treatment of injuries following an automobile accident that occurred on Wednesday evening, April 3. The Victoria Police Department was called to the scene of the collision at around 11:30 p.m.

Police reports indicate that a maroon 2008 Dodge was traveling on East Red River Street. As the vehicle proceeded through the intersection of Ben Jordan Street, the driver failed to yield the right-of-way while making a left turn. As a result, the vehicle collided with a gold 2006 Toyota. The driver of the Toyota was injured in the crash. The victim, a 23-year-old female, was transported to an area hospital for medical care. At this time, investigations into the accident are ongoing.
