Traveling as a motorcyclist is far from safe. Things that are minor inconveniences to a driver, like potholes and uneven roads, can be disastrous for a rider. Unfortunately, motorcyclists are over-represented in national roadway fatalities. Statistics show that riders are nearly 28 times more likely than someone in a car to be killed in the event of a crash, and almost 80 percent of motorcycle collisions end in death or injury. An estimated one motorcyclist is killed daily on Texas roads. In 2022, there were 562 riders killed in collisions across the state, with 2,422 being injured. More than half of these deadly accidents involve other vehicles. If you or someone close to you is seriously hurt in a motorcycle crash, it is important that you are ready to get to work on your case with the help of a trained attorney.
