Edinburg, TX (April 2, 2024) - On Sunday, March 31, two people were injured after a crash involving a motorcycle in the Edinburg area. The collision occurred at the intersection of Trenton Road and Interstate 69C late that night at around 8 p.m. Local reports revealed that two people were traveling on a motorcycle when they were hit from behind by a black SUV.
Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the scene to render the necessary aid. The SUV, believed to be a BMW, continued traveling northbound and fled the scene without providing aid. The man and woman riding the motorcycle were seriously injured and transported to a local hospital by ambulance for treatment. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
